I am sensitive to snow shoveling in Boulder. My Grandmother taught that if you did not have a strong brain you’d better have strong legs. I have weak thighs!  I have to rely upon my brain. Some think that presents me with a huge hurdle.  I have experienced some rather dramatic health challenges, and at 72 I have to treat myself as being a person at higher risk for a cardio-vascular event. Boulder Moves to Ban Flavored Vape Pens, Raise Buying Age

After several reports have come out this week against Juul and the unknown, potentially very harmful effects of vaping, Boulder officials have decided to move forward with the ban on electronic cigarettes with flavored nicotine. Under the new law, tobacco flavored electronic cigarettes will still be allowed. This comes after U.S. health officials released a statement that they were investigating 215 cases of severe lung disease that are associated with vaping, with the investigation looking at both THC and nicotine related vaping products. Facing the Flood

It all began on Wednesday evening, around sundown, when the rain started dumping. Forget cats and dogs, this was lions and bears. I was heading back from a friend’s house and remember thinking that the raindrops were so big and coming down so hard that it felt more like hail than rainfall. After being outside for only about a minute I was as drenched in water as if I’d just climbed out of a swimming pool.
