Boulder County Moose Attack: Woman and Dog Survive Terrifying Encounter

According to Colorado Parks and Wildlife, a cow moose that was disturbed by a lady walking her dog on a woodland trail in the Colorado Rocky Mountains on Wednesday charged at the hiker, headbutting and stomping on her before she managed to flee back down the trail. The woman was taken to a hospital, according to the authorities, but they chose not to disclose her injuries or condition.
