“We must conquer the rock to show our mightiness.” comments Jonah on his experience rock climbing. This was Jonah’s first time climbing outdoors, catching a glimpse of what the rock’s in Boulder taste like. He has never done much climbing before, but due to the friendliness of the rock climbing community and the nature of climbing itself, he’s hooked. Mason and Allie are brand new to the Boulder area and started off their first official day by hiking the first Flatiron Trail. Allie moved to the area from Philadelphia to prepare for starting her degree at CU Boulder. In the mean time, Mason is planning on working in Denver for a construction company. This couple loves the outdoors, and obviously moved to the right area for their lifestyle. When these two aren’t working or studying, they plan on hiking and rock climbing. Meet Nick! He spent the day summiting Bear Peak, before heading back down for a microbrew in Boulder. This was his first time reaching the top of Bear, and his favorite portion of his hike was going off trail and scrambling up the rock face.
