As coronavirus cases continue to spike in Colorado, shutdowns also continue. Civic Center Park and surrounding areas closed this morning until further notice, following closely behind the closure of Red Rocks. The closure will be enforced by park rangers.

Snow continues to fall in Colorado today despite the warmer spring weather earlier last week, though the limited commute allowed for little to no extra traffic this morning and there were few wrecks.

As per usual, Polis will be speaking again today at 12:15 to update the state on recent numbers and anything that may have happened over Easter weekend. It appears that most Easter religious services were held online in order to continue social distancing compliance.

It is expected that Polis will also touch on the settlement agreement regarding the expansion of the Convention Center for potential COVID-19 patients. Mortenson, the developer company, has said that this renovation will be at no cost to the city government as part of the agreement that was reached today.
