The year is slipping by and the sunlight is more and more fleeting, November has arrived. Naked limbs jut out from between the remaining leaves. They desperately cling to branches with their last strength before joining their fallen brethren. The nightlife still beckons those who choose to brave the cold.
Shine Restaurant and Gathering Place is hosting their weekly Sunset Series with DJ Royal Swan and Friends on Thursday November 5th. It’s a free event that runs from 5pm-10pm and is recurring every week for your convince.
Every Thursday night from 8 P.M- Close the West End Tavern, located at 926 Pearl St, hosts Bluegrass, Bourbon, and BBQ. Enjoy quality whisky while listening to the sound of the hills. This shindig is followed by late night happy hour on both food and drinks. It runs from 9P.M.-Close Thursday through Saturday.
Also on Thursday Elephant Wrecking Ball with Realtalk will be performing at the Lazy Dog 10 pm. This is a free show promising to be light on the wallet and rich in enjoyment.
First Friday is once again upon us and galleries are opening their doors, inviting in the community to view the artwork of local and touring artists. Talent, artistry and inspiration will be on display from 6-9PM you can check out the routes in the NoBo Arts District.
This Friday, Fox Theater will be presenting the Bass Physics, a Colorado based EDM band. They will be performing with Phutureprimiative and electronic sound coupled with hypnotic melody will be sure to please.
Sunday Aji will be hosting an all day happy hour from 3PM to Close.
If these options don’t appeal you can always take a stroll downtown. The streets are decorated with cute bars where the music may entice you to peak your head in. May you have a wonder weekend!
