Founded in 1979, on a farm just northeast of town, Boulder Beer has come a long way since it planted its roots in the Boulder Valley 38 years ago. As Colorado’s First Craft Brewery, Boulder Beer quickly took off, giving beer lovers an extraordinary change. Eva is on her first week of a long journey. She plans to travel to Boston, and perform on her way to pay for gas. She plays four instruments: fiddle, ukulele, banjo and guitar. “I was born into playing music. My family all plays different instruments, and I guess I just took after them,” Eva said about how she got into music. Eva has traveled before, and claims her favorite places are Boulder and Helena. What on earth are we talking about today? Only the coolest festival in Colorado. Every year thousands gather in Nederland to celebrate our state’s most famous frozen grandpa with games, beer, music, and coffin races! Did we mention most events are free? Hillary Susz has a new single, just released, and it’s called “Pollution.” The folk music resurgence is still going strong, but you probably haven’t heard a take on this familiar genre like Hillary’s.
