Denver hit a new record low on Monday at 15 degrees, beating the previous record of 17 degrees in 1933. With the cold temperatures has brought snow across the front range, and more to come on Thursday this week. Boulder was hit significantly harder than Denver, with about 15 inches of snowfall so far, while Denver has only accumulated about an inch. March 12 is hooky day, and Loveland Ski Area is offering lift tickets for $35 and a coupon for buy one get one passes valid for up to two weeks. Mason and Allie are brand new to the Boulder area and started off their first official day by hiking the first Flatiron Trail. Allie moved to the area from Philadelphia to prepare for starting her degree at CU Boulder. In the mean time, Mason is planning on working in Denver for a construction company.
