Boulder Weekly Events
Valentine’s Day falls on a Sunday this year, which leaves a lot of room for planning. It doesn’t just have to be an evening filled with loved ones and soul mates, it can be a whole day or even a whole weekend!
Hopefully you already have set plans for the holiday, but for those who are last minute planners, keep reading for ideas.
If you’re in a relationship, that is wonderful! If you’re not, who says these events can’t be done alone, with friends, or with family? Forget the bubbly, chocolate and beer is the new trend.

Shine Restaurant and Gathering Place: Valentine’s Burlesque Extravaganza is from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. for only $15. You don’t want to miss this! It’s a show full of music, comedy, belly dancing, magic, and burlesque.
Boulder Beer: from noon to 10 p.m. chocolate covered strawberries will be on the house with a purchase of a pint of Shake Nitro!
Piece, Love, and Chocolate: a great local shop for dessert. You should definitely taste the truffles made with beer!
Sunday, February 14, 2016
Upslope Brewing: from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. grab a refreshing beer at Upslope and pair it with Nothing Bundt Cake samples that will be provided.
Left Hand Brewing Company: for every pint you buy, you get complimentary chocolate. Who is going to say no to that?
Boulder Bru: six-course dinner paired with Ian Clark’s homemade ales. Each dish has a new ale!
The Huckleberry: a romantic atmosphere that all love birds look for in a Valentine’s dinner. For $30, customers get an appetizer, an entrée, and a dessert.
Once the day of romance is over, you don’t have to go home just yet.
If you’re looking for somewhere to stay the whole weekend and get away, check out Hotel Boulderado or St. Julien Hotel and Spa. Both hold a lot of history, beautiful rooms, and lovely dining experiences. You can even relax together as a couple in the spa.
