Welcome to Namaste Boulder.

This is my new weekly blog dedicated to the exploration of the people and classes that make up Boulder’s vast and dynamic yoga scene.

CU Boulder Campus

I have been practicing yoga in Boulder for 5 years. One of the main things I have learned is that yoga can be different things to different people. There are so many classes to choose from here in Boulder, I am confident that there is a class and an instructor who can meet anyone’s needs. When I first started practicing, I had to put in a lot of time and money trying out different instructors and studios to find the right classes for me. On this blog, I plan to help you figure out what class is right for you.

While finding a class and teacher you can rely on to give you what you need is great, sometimes what you need to get out of a rut is to change it up and try something new. I’ve learned that even if I go to a class that isn’t really my thing, I typically still take away at least one new thing to bring into my practice.

Don’t be afraid to try out a class that is totally different than your go-to class!

Each week, I am going to attend a different class in Boulder, and afterwards I will interview the instructor. I will describe the class and style, so you know what to expect before you go.

But it’s not a review!

My main goal is to capture a nugget of wisdom about yoga and life that I know each and every one of them has to offer our community and to share it with you.

The blog will come out every Tuesday. I will be tweeting the posts out weekly @kincaijb91 . Have a question you’d like me to ask in my next post? Are you an instructor who would like to be featured? Got comments or questions? Tweet or email me! I’d love to hear from you!

Until next week, Namaste Boulder!
