Sundown Thursday Sunrise
As always, the lighting on the mountains and the lighting on clouds is never the same. If we insist on being technical, this is a sunrise, not a sunset. BUT I love the image. And if a reader were to see this in the morning, Friday morning for example, then we’d have the sun coming up at sunrise. That is just the type of astonishing coincidences that intrigue me. I mean what are the chances that the sun will rise daily, and that this daily event will occur, with astonishing regularity, at sunrise?. What are the odds???
Welcome to another Friday! Friday has to be, for so many of us, one of the best days of the week. And again, amazingly, it ALWAYS falls on a Friday! The universe is a strange and wonderful place.
It may seem obvious that the sun comes up at sunrise, but in reality, the movement on a planetary and solar system scale is gigantic! Entire planets, some, such as Earth, weighing in at 13,170,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 (1.3 x 1025) pounds! That’s thirteen septillion pounds, And that’s just the Earth,, which is FAR FAR lighter than the sun. Of course that’s “lighter in weight” and not “lighter as in more light.” I’d say “please excuse the pun,” but it is inexcusable.
The “bubbles” underneath the cloud formations always make me smile. The colors and the “bubbles” are visually intriguing and vibrantly startling.. So I made a personal executive decision and am posting this sunrise picture at sunset. I am not, I believe, confused. On the other hand, the Earth and the Sun may be confused!
