Boomtown Accelerator states that they are a company created for entrepreneurs, by entrepreneurs. Boomtown Accelerator is a creative lab space for those looking to create their own business. The creative space includes unique classroom-like spaces, as well as conference rooms, private breakout spaces, and of course their Boomtown Connectivity Lab. But Boomtown Accelerator isn’t just a start-up space it’s also an awesome accelerator program. They provide their teams of entrepreneurs with all the resources needed to succeed and build their start up product or service. They also provide them with them with networking opportunities, a budget, lab equipment, and a mentorship program. The budget includes $20,000 in seed money and also many additional perks estimating around $700,000. The lab equipment includes tools for the design and early prototype stage, specification, and form as well as assembly, testing, and presentation. Boomtown’s world-class mentorship program includes an impressive network of the top industry leaders. Boomtown then matches these exceptionally talented mentors with their team of entrepreneurs, customized to each specific individual’s needs. These Teams are given 12 weeks to develop and grow their ideas into a company. Finishing up the 2016 year, Boomtown accelerator currently has seven teams undergoing their 3-month accelerator program. Their fall Demo Day is December 6th at Boulder Theatre. Everyone is welcome to attend; it is free and open to the public.

Originally from the most loved state on the East Coast, New Jersey, she fell in love with the Colorado culture the second she stepped foot here. Ever since, she has been lucky enough to attend school at the University of Colorado-Boulder, making this beautiful city her home. Currently pursuing a degree in journalism, she enjoys taking cool pictures and meeting interesting people. Passionate about helping others and giving back, she has been a part of the CU Rotaract club serving as the Special Events Coordinator for the past three years. This past semester she was given the opportunity to spend four exciting months in Barcelona, where she studied during the week and ran around the rest of Europe on the weekend.
