When Michelle Theall was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 2003, she wondered if she would still be able to do the things that she loved.  Well, after years of running, Theall has pushed those doubts to the side.  After competing in collegiate athletics at Texas Tech, her strong suit being the 800 meters, Theall has a passion for running that is contagious.

Theall has lived in Boulder for 21 years.  “It’s home,” she says.

Theall is the author of her memoior, “Teaching the Cat to Sit”  and contributed an essay in “Tales From Another Mother Runner.”

Theall is an inspiration, showing us that when our passions are strong enough, they can take us to places thought to be untouchable!
