Meet Carlos Alvarez-Aranyos.  Carlos is a local business owner, world explorer, and entrepreneur.  Carlos is originally from the Dominican Republic but is truly a citizen of the world.

Carlos has traveled all over the world and could be in the running for the next “Most Interesting Man in the World.”  Some of Carlos’ adventures include a motorcycle ride to the Arctic Circle, serving as a judge for a Miss USA contest, and a trek across India in a rickshaw.  He has held jobs working for the U.S. Department of Defense under the Obama administration, and that’s just scratching the surface…

These days, Alvarez-Aranyos runs the transportation company he started in 2015 after moving to Boulder, originally to write a book.  Boulder Transport is an all-in-one transportation service specializing in luxury limousine, special event, contract, and helicopter transportation throughout the entire state of Colorado.

What originally started as a $7,000 loan, has grown into a full-fledge transportation company featuring a fleet of five top-of-the line vehicles and three helicopters. Alvarez-Aranyos is determined to continue building a company he believes in.

Paying all of his drivers a living wage, going above and beyond the insurance requirements by the state, and maintaining all of his vehicles at the dealer are the standard at Boulder Transport. This standard is something that Alvarez-Aranyos will not budge on.  It certainly pays off; all of the vehicles in the Boulder Transport fleet look like they just drove off the lot for the first time and the staff is extremely punctual and professional.

Be sure to keep an eye out for Boulder Transport this winter and check out their new and improved “Mountain Division.” Comprised of three SUVs and a Mercedes Benz Sprinter Van, all equipped with snow tires and plenty of storage, Boulder Transport’s Mountain Division is outfitted to accommodate all of your ski and snowboard needs this season!
