Cannabis and Athletics at the MJ for MDs 2018

October 20th, 2018

The Marijuana for Medical Professionals 2018 conference in Denver started on Sunday morning, October 14th, wrapped up at the end of the day on Tuesday, October 16th, and it was incredible! I spent three packed days soaking up valuable cannabis education from physicians, nurses, and other leading experts in the industry. With the majority of these presentations being accredited for continuing medical and nursing education credits, it was one of the most comprehensive and informative conferences I’ve had the pleasure of attending. On top of learning so much, I’m very happy to report there was... Read More

September 1st, 2018

My wife Heather and I just returned to our home in Colorado from Miami, Florida this week. We were speaking at the U.S. Cannabis Conference and Expo about epilepsy, and the benefits of cannabis for fitness. We’ve had the opportunity to speak several times in Colorado this year, but this was our first time educating on the East Coast! In April of this year we spoke about the benefits of hemp for athletes at the Terpenes and Testing Magazine World Conference, in San Jose, CA. Now that we’ve had the chance to speak in Florida, we’ve officially covered the U.S. coast to coast in our efforts to... Read More

A Celebration of Love: Boulder Prideweek

September 13th, 2016

This week, we celebrated love. The Boulder Pridefest, held last weekend, wrapped up a week of much needed love and support.  After such a trying year for the LGBTQ community, the city came together to celebrate the freedom to love one another. For Victoria Brozek, a festival goer and self-proclaimed “hella gay participant,” Pridefest is, “inspiring in the way that the community comes together to celebrate different gender identities, relationships, and ways of life.” She adds that, “having [that] support is so important, especially when it may not be coming from other places.” Many... Read More

August 17th, 2016

For anyone who has recently braved the terror that is Target during back to school, congratulations. You survived. Let’s be honest about back to school season. Here are a few of the sunniest. Tube to Work Day Was June’s bike to work day too mundane for you? Do you relish the idea of commute by water? Don your worst suit, grab your tube, and join the... Read More
