November 11th, 2023

CU Boulder’s 100th Homecoming game brought Boulder back to its roots and was a day to remember for both CU students, Alumni, and Boulder residents. Everyone in Boulder was reminded this weekend of why Boulder is such a great place to live in through the beautiful 80 degree weather and the great moments that made up this years homecoming weekend. The following images come from Travis Bildahl and Joseph Wirth as they went from party to party on the hill area of Boulder this weekend. Hope you enjoy these pictures as much as we enjoyed game day!                         Hope... Read More

Faces of Boulder ~ Pic of the Day

February 6th, 2023

Water in my opinion is the key to life. Makenna adds to this by stating that water is to say the least, relaxing and peaceful. Peace being something that we as humans have fought for and looked for now for centuries. Makenna, being a CU graduate, presents the idea that we’ve been looking for something that has been right here in front of our faces. Water! Though she never grew up near the ocean, she spent quite a while on Lake Michigan. There she realized that the water is peace, the water is life, the water is Home! Thanks Makenna!  Read More

Faces of Boulder ~ Pic of the Day

January 31st, 2023

“Boulder has it’s own way of bringing happiness into people’s lives. The atmosphere is incomparable. It’s an escape, but the good kind. Just as you can hop on your bike and escape from things, boulder can help with your own personal escape. So take a moment, hop on your bike, and take your own ride to your own escape.” Thanks Daisy!  Read More

Faces of Boulder – Pic of The Day – Caroline!

January 29th, 2023

Caroline, “I’m from Minneapolis Minnesota and I have family that lives close by. I grew up skiing  Keystone for so long that I just felt like a draw towards Colorado. My passions are that I really love learning languages and learning about other cultures in the language as I grew and I’ve been learning about different cultures and now I am starting Spanish. I really love adventures and waking up every morning in Boulder is inspiring, and arguably life changing. I want to go out there and I want to explore and maybe draw something in nature. I think learning other languages... Read More

Faces of Boulder – Pic of The Day ~ Derek!

August 16th, 2022

Originally from Colorado, Derek spends a lot of his precious time as a painter! His passion comes from many places, one is compassion, because he feels the need to respond to a lot of the people that he’s associated with at work because they need him in a lot of ways. Another is his love for arts and creative expression. It’s very motivating to explore consciousness in London. When he projects himself in the future, he would like to be a professional artist, and exclusively own an art community house, where everybody chips in. Enough individuals that rent is cheap and it makes it... Read More

Faces of Boulder – Gabby!

May 26th, 2022

Gabby here has an unexplained light in her. As a child Gabby moved around a ton, all the way up until she was in high school. What people don’t know is her best friend and playful lover is her dog Hilde. Through all her ups and downs, Hilde gave her unconditional love. Love that hasn’t been seen frequently in us humans. This connection with her dog keeps her grinning and her heart pumping full of love. She would like to think Hilde is what kept her alive. Gabby wants people to know that we as people have to find a connection or a passion to elevate and pick ourselves up. “Keep... Read More
