To keep him out of a nursing home, some of the Boulder skating community came together to help fund the medical care so that he could live out his final days in the comfort of this own home. Meet Michael! Amidst the scent of sawdust and lacquer, this former Floridian works on a custom piece of furniture which is how he makes his living these days. When he’s not woodworking, Michael spends his time enjoying all that Boulder has to offer from our restaurants to the endless outdoor activities. He is an avid snowboarder, artist and musician, at one time playing lead guitar in his own band.
