Faces of Boulder – Pic of the Day!

October 17th, 2023

Every face has its own story, but this one tells two. This is a true face of Boulder, Colorado. A face that can always be found downtown. A face that has its own spirit and lives as part of another. A face that really is a window to the soul. This isn’t only the face of a man wise beyond his years; this is part of Boulder’s collective, figurative “face”. Piqué asked for his face not to be photographed. Instead he’d rather that I take a picture of his Tonsure, the patch of hair on the back of his head that resembles a sort of Buddhist mullet. An opportunity to, if you’re a cynic, make laughable public promises to change your life and fail to do so. Years of... Read More

A Broader Perspective – an Interview with Astrologer Sophie Rose

September 26th, 2014

I am excited to begin this series of interviews with some of the wonderful spiritual teachers, healers and therapists we are blessed to have access to here in Boulder. Sophie and I have worked together over the past several years, and I have always appreciated her ability to empower others (myself included!) in their lives and on their spiritual path with clarity and kindness. So, we met for tea and a chat! Originally from France, Sophie has been in Boulder for 13 years offering astrology readings and classes, and in recent years has also been guiding clients in past life regression work. She has... Read More
