For a lesson in etiquette and kicking zombie ass, Chem 140 is having an advanced screening of Pride and Prejudice and Zombies this Thursday at 7:00 pm. This is part of their Council Film Series. Admission is free and so is the popcorn.
From 7:30-8:00 pm on Thursday, Boulder Book store is having Gayl Gray’s “Artscape Boulder, CO” talk and book signing. The book is filled with photographs of the public art of Boulder. Some of the artists will also appear at this event. You have to purchase a $5 voucher to attend but can use that towards a purchase the day of the event.
If dance is more appealing to your Thursday, Diavolo will be performing at 7:30 pm at the University of Colorado. Incredible dancers use architecture and props to dance upon and convey human emotion. Beauty, skill, and design meld in a dance and acrobatics. It is advertised as “architecture in motion”.

For a night of funk and debauchery, Technicolor Tone Factory and Rowdy Shadehouse will be joined by Big Wave Couch Surfer are playing on Thursday at the Fox Theater. Doors are at 8:30 with the show starting at 9. This is an all ages show that ranges from $10.00 to $12.50
On Friday at 7:30, the documentary People of a Feather featuring the Inuit people and footage from seven winters in the Arctic will be playing at Chautaqua. The film examines the changes in the Artic’s climate through the building of dams and the changes in the currents. Prices range from $9.00 to $12.00.

Also on Friday, Roots loves Reggae presents Holiday Celebration Featuring The Mighty Diamonds and The Yellow Wall Dub Squad. Prices range from $12.00 to $15.00 a ticket. Doors are at 8:30pm with the show starting at 9:00pm. This Jamaican vocal trio has been making music for 46 years.
On Saturday, the Prairie Scholars will be performing a live show at Twisted Pine Brewing Company. The show is free and starts at 7:00pm.
