The 2022 NFL Mock Draft – Vegas Edition

April 19th, 2022

The Denver Broncos may not be picking anyone in the 2022 NFL Draft until number 64 of the second round, but that doesn’t mean it won’t be exciting. The event takes place in Las Vegas – the perfect setting for future dreams and crushing disappointment. I’m expecting food-stained jerseys, alcohol induced jeers, and beer flying everywhere. And that’s just my living room. A prediction of the first dozen picks of the 2022 NFL Draft – just like it will look like in Vegas. (Minus the lap dance, glitter, and regret.) 1) Jacksonville Jaguars – Aiden Hutchinson / Edge / Michigan – With... Read More

Super Bowl Odds – Can Anyone Beat the Chiefs?

December 29th, 2020

To say that the Kansas City Chiefs are the odds-on favorite to repeat as Super Bowl Champions would be an understatement.  With a record of 14-1, home field throughout the playoffs, and quarterback Pat Mahomes behind center, Las Vegas sees them as a +170 to win it all again. The rivalry goes back years, but the epicenter stems from the late seventies when the Oakland matched Kenny Stabler, Cliff Branch, and Fred Biletnikoff against Denver’s Orange Crush defense of Randy Gradishar, Tom Jackson, and Billy Thompson. The games were violent, nasty, physical matchups that often ended with blood on the field, and fights in the stands.  But as the years... Read More

Faces of Boulder – Pic of the Day!

February 13th, 2016

“Bark, bark, grrrrr, bark!” That is Jazmin’s way of saying, “hello!” On another amazing, sunny Boulder County day, I ran into Jazmin and her people, Vicki and Tanya, taking a stroll along beautiful Coal Creek Trail.  They were out trying to wear Jazmin out a little bit! She is a Golden Retriever – Husky mix and loving this weather, just check out the smile on her furry face! Two years ago, Tanya and Vicki moved back to Colorado after living in Las Vegas for 10 years. They live in Lafayette and love their fur baby, Jazmin. Vicki tends bar in Denver when she isn’t... Read More
