The Be-Fit pass that CU offers students is between $50-$75 a semester depending on when you buy it. Although this sounds like a solid amount of cash to hand over to the University, it easily qualifies as one of the best purchase decisions I’ve made this past semester, and I plan on making it again in the Spring.

The Be-Fit passes give you, as a student, access to any and all of the fitness classes offered during the week and on Sundays. Everyday there are dozens of classes, many of which are completely different from one another. To name a few, zumba, cycling, yoga, and power barre are all offered almost everyday. This pass proved to be not only useful in regards to the variety of classes that it lends access to but also because of the length of time of each class. Most classes are between 45-60 minutes, with a few 30-minute exceptions. These longer work-out are great because they burn more calories than a run or even a self-created workout can (usually). I like the hour-long classes because I know that I’m forced to put forth 100% effort for the entire time.

Some of my favorite classes offered at the CU Rec Center include:
1) Power Barre
2) Power Yoga
3) Glutes, Core & More
4) Tuff Buff
Each of these classes is challenging and offer varying benefits. No matter which one you choose, I guarantee that you’ll break a sweat.

What else makes this Be-Fit Pass worth buying?
1) You can go with friends
2) Perfect for the Winter season
3) Consistent workout
4) Varying classes, at varying levels, at varying times
5) They’re fun (really, they are)
6) Professional instructors
