  Jon Devita is originally from Seattle, Washington. He came to Boulder to study engineering, and has been enjoying all that Boulder has to offer. His favorite hobbies are Barbecuing, playing pickup football, and hanging outside with his friends. Savanna Bathke hails from Los Angeles, California but came to Boulder because of her love for the outdoors and all the music surrounding Colorado. She has a diverse taste in music, but does not consider any genre to be out of her realm of interest. This past week, she was able to see Black Sabbath perform at the Pepsi Center! Savanna is a huge Colorado Buffalo fan (as you can see in the photo) and considers Boulder a second home. She hopes to visit Boulder and the rest of Colorado for years to come.  Read More

Trent Cady is from Newport Beach, California. Always in search of adventure, Trent saw a lot of opportunity for outdoor activities when choosing schools. Boulder seemed like the right fit, and since deciding to go, Trent has never looked back. You can find Trent snowboarding at Breck in the winter, and wake boarding on any lake that allows boats in the summer. Trent is also a lover of skateboarding. Jack Feldman moved to Boulder from Marin County California to pursue a degree in finance. Jack is a passionate student who did not want to sacrifice schooling for the surrounding area around him. For this reason, Boulder seemed like a great fit. Jack loves the outdoors as well. An active snowboarder, Jack takes every opportunity to head up to the mountains to shred as much as he can. He also loves frequenting his favorite restaurants for happy hour with his friends. Zack Missioreck hales from Manhattan Beach, California. He came to Boulder to study film. His favorite things to do are to be outside taking photos, as well as work on film projects with his peers. Matson Carver was born in Larkspur, California. He came to Boulder four years ago hoping to meet new people, explore new terrain, and find a place he could call home. While Matson’s heart lies in California, he is happy to admit that Boulder has exceeded his expectations as one of the coolest places he has ever visited. Danny Gavney came to Boulder because of his love of the outdoors. He felt that Boulder would give him the best chances of getting educated while still being able to explore the mountains. Nicknamed, “Dan the Mountain Man,” or, “Ranger Dan,” it is clear that Dan enjoys exploring the mountains and all they have to offer. Ryan Tierney moved to Boulder from Redwood City, California four years ago to complete a degree in political science. He was drawn to Boulder because of the University’s beautiful campus as well as its proximity to the mountains.
