“I am in love with traveling and hiking and I want to make it a life goal to make sacrifices to spend money on traveling rather than lots of material goods.”

Meet Emily!  She is a sophomore at CU Boulder, majoring in Anthropology and Journalism, while passionately minoring in Spanish.

“I am studying abroad in Argentina this summer to practice my Spanish language skills,” she says.

What made Emily want to attend CU Boulder?

“I grew up in Colorado and as much as I loved the idea of moving to a new state, I wanted to explore Colorado on my own terms. I also appreciated the academics of CU. I love the relaxed vibe of Boulder and I’m amazed how many people I meet that love adventure and the outdoors as much as I do. Not to mention Boulder is just insanely beautiful.”
