Introducing Barbara, Owner and Founder of Positively-Funded, a full-scale business development company helping both for-profit and non-profit companies ‘get out of the STUCK place!’ Barbara has built a career of success through staying true to her ethos of “finding the right puzzle pieces to put together and make the world a better place.” Her work has spanned from local projects in Colorado, to national and international projects – creating truly winning partnerships.

Barbara brings an exceptional level of passion and work-ethic to the table when she takes on new clients. This is clear in her process of preparation, her ability to listen – and inspire hope – and her willingness to roll up her sleeves and get to work! She has discovered that many businesses get stuck, and she has crafted the ability to bring a new and creative perspective to the table in order to push people out of their ‘stuck’ place.

“I love when I see the pivot of mindset – when I see that fire or spark”

An example of Barbara’s aptitude for building mutually beneficial relationships for a real impact came during a Colorado Winter a few years back. Barbara, being conscious of the fact that those with severe visual impairments are the poorest population on earth, knew there was an opportunity to make a real difference in people’s lives, and that Cooking Matters was a great organization to work with to do so! Cooking Matters helps teach fellow Coloradans how to cook healthy, affordable meals through cooking classes as well as education on how to properly shop for groceries. Barbara was a driving force in putting together the recourses of 6 different nonprofits, including Cooking Matters, to collaborate and orchestrate 6 cooking classes for a dozen blind community members. The success of those classes, as well as the connections that were built during those 6 weeks and beyond, are a highlight of Barbara’s career.
