“Join us as we celebrate the opening of our permanent exhibit, the Boulder Experience! We are excited to welcome the community into the newest addition to the Museum that explores the history of innovation in Boulder through an immersive, multi-media experience.

To make the day even more special, we’ll have a variety of performances and activities throughout the Museum for all ages. Learn more about Boulder’s open spaces in our first-floor gallery with Wild Bear Nature Center and Boulder’s Open Space and Mountain Parks Department, surrounded by the Open Space Visions watercolor exhibit. Boulder’s past will come to life with living history figures Rocky Mountain Joe, the prolific photographer from early Boulder who will be taking historic-themed photos, and Martha Maxwell, a pioneering naturalist who will be present with examples of the modern taxidermy she helped establish. Come sing and dance with the popular kid-friendly music group House of Joy, and relive Boulder’s history with performances by the local Buntport Theater Company.” – Information from Downtown Boulder
