Boulder’s Bittersweet Farewell: Embracing Change by the Pacific

Leaving Boulder, the place I called home for three decades, was a decision that tugged at my heart, but it illuminated a profound truth – change can be a catalyst for wonderful things. In our comfort zones, it’s easy to become complacent, sticking to routines that feel safe and familiar. But sometimes, venturing into the unknown, embracing change, is where true growth happens.

Boulder, a town I deeply loved, had undergone a transformation, and the changes were unmistakable. The peaceful streets I once strolled had given way to congested roads, the cost of living soared, and the town’s original charm was fading into the past. It was time for a new chapter, even though leaving behind a place that had held my heart for so long was not easy.

One of the most noticeable shifts in my daily life was the transition from falling asleep to the distant, haunting echoes of coyotes in the mountains to the gentle and rhythmic chants of seals by the ocean.
