Lush “Travel Friendly” Products:toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, and body washes, you name it, they have it. Before any long-trip (any trip over two weeks) I march straight to Lush to stock up on their life-changing travel-catered beauty products. They have several different options for solid or goo-like beauty products for each and every skin and hair type. They even have travel tins to put your products in, and wah lah! No liquid fussing when you go through security and bam, you smell like roses. *Each tin full of shampoo or conditioner is good for 30 washes!

The toothpaste is also good for the non-liquid aspect of flying. For $5 you get 40 tablets that dissolve in your mouth and produce minty fresh toothpaste. Different flavors are available as well.

Exoffico: Re-wearable underwear! Ok, that’s a little misleading…all underwear should be re-wearable, right? Ugh, I hope so. However, this special material is made for quick washing and drying on the go. They’re comfortable, reliable, and dry in just an hour or two.

Long Range Wifi Extender: For those travelers venturing places where the wifi signal is bar to none, literally, this is the perfect present they will be thanking you for over and over again. The extender can reach wifi signals that were previously out of range. It is said this tool can give you 4 bars where there was only 1 before! This is especially a good gift for fellow bloggers, or people who need Internet on the road. Uhh… so everyone!

BirkSun BackPacks: “I’m not like the other travelers, I’m a cool traveler!” –name the movie. There’s my “Mean Girls” quote for the day. This backpack is the perfect gift for any traveler who needs to keep their belongings charged, intact, and looking fly! The BirkSun bags come equipped with built in solar panels that give charge to your phone when plugged into your bag. 3 minutes of sunlight=1% charge, pretty innovative and life changing for everyone, especially travelers. I’m in love with this backpack.  Useful and stylish.

A plane ticket! I think this is the most obvious for travel lovers. If you want to win the “best present award” this year, buy someone special a trip somewhere! Even a weekend getaway is a pretty badass present. A trip for you and your wife to a Spa in Tucson?? Sounds pretty nice to me… Memories are the best thing you can give anyone.

Pepper Spray: Perfect stocking stuffer for solo female travelers. I bring mace everywhere with me and have traveled to over 20 countries with it, including the most intense of airport securities, including the most intense, London Heathrow. No one ever cared or said anything until one day. Guess where I was… You will never guess who decided my mace was “not allowed” somewhere. It was in Las Vegas at a pool party at the Wynn. Yes sir, please take away my only form of defense at a pool party where there are thousands of belligerent guys, where I most definitely could get into a situation where I actually needed the mace.

Minus the wannabe secret service security at the pool party the mace has come in handy more times than one. When I was 20 I traveled throughout Europe with two of my best girlfriends. Sometimes, at night walking home from bars I felt iffy. I would always put the mace in my right hand and instantly I would feel safer.   I never had to use it and I never came close to using it, but it was still nice knowing I could spray a mother down if he tried anything.

Any Patagonia clothing product: I am a lover of Patagonia, however this was not always the case. I used to be skeptical of the $170 dollar price tag on a simple puffy jacket, until I realized it wasn’t just a simple puffy jacket, it was THE jacket. I bought two Patagonias before traveling throughout South America and now I swear I can’t leave the house without them, my Patagonia jacket and my fleece. They’re light, easy to pack, and can be worn in warmer, and the coldest climates. Versatile is an understatement.

The Sleeper Scarf: When you’re on a plane for nine hours the only thing you want is relief. For me, it’s always my neck. There is a built in inflatable neck pillow that you blow up with a few puffs when you’re ready to relax. This sleeper scarf is a hassle free way to get better rest on a plane, and can also act as an extra layer.   I’m all for layering up on planes, they get damn cold sometimes! It doesn’t hurt that it’s somewhat cute either, so even if you don’t use the neck pillow you can still wear it as a scarf and no one would ever know.

Therapick Mosquito Bite Reliever: For anyone who knows me reading this…I put this on the list for a reason, hint hint. For those of us who have sweet blood or are like my Persian friend Candace, who gets welts the size of softballs when insects bite them, this is a godsend. There have been too many nights on vacation in a tropical destination that I have stayed awake itching and itching, tossing and turning cursing out mosquitos. The best part is, it’s not only for mosquitos, but over 20,000 other bug bites as well. The tool delivers the right amount of heat to stop the irritation. Amen.
