To Debi, my wife of 38 years, all in Boulder, Happy Valentines Day! And to ALL of you, a Happiest of Valentine’s Day. May your lover never hurt you, and may you never hurt them. Valentine’s Day serves as a reminder that we are in love with each other for the day, and for the rest of the year.
I have always made my own Valentine’s Day cards. While some are rather crude, I have gotten better at drawing an arrow through a heart. This year I did something completely different For Debi, turtles Phlash and Speedy, and green cheeked conure parrot, Layla.
Because we live the future, here’s another version of the card. I gave Debi both!
