Osprey Nest Gains 2 New Eggs After Losing Eggs in Storm Last Week

Boulderites have been following a live osprey nest camera with two birds. The pair of raptors had laid three eggs this season, but the late snowstorm last week that dumped nearly a foot of snow on Boulder ending up leaving the eggs unincubated for a period of time, and the ospreys lost the eggs. Luckily, the ospreys were able to lay two new eggs this week, one of which has been confirmed by wildlife officials as being viable, with the second likely to be viable as well.
