The Zillow Home Values Index ranks cities for all homes as of April 2022.  The average property value in the most costly city on the list is $2,830,071, which is 387 percent higher than the state average of $581,101. Boulder #1 in Nation for Real Estate Stability

According to a recent study done by SmartAsset, Boulder has ranked #1 in the nation for real estate stability based on over 25 years of data. The study analyzed metro areas based on home growth and the likelihood that a home would decline by 5% or more over a 10-year span. The value of Boulder homes has gone up almost 2% over the past year, and it is predicted that they will rise another 4% this year. The median price of homes in Boulder is $794,210, with the median price per square foot being $562, $212 more than the price per square foot in the Boulder metro area.
