IMG_8228“There was this job that I once applied for and during the interview they asked what do you want it to say on your gravestone? On NPR during The Writer’s Almanac with Garrison Keillor at the end he says “be well, do good work, and keep in touch. I want it to say on my gravestone, she was well, she did good work, and she kept in touch. I feel like that encapsulates a wholesome and valuable life. This life where you were in body and mind, and you were really healthy. You also worked hard and were happy with the work you did. You also fostered community and had friends. I thought about how that is totally how I want to be remembered. Just someone who is able to make other peoples lives a little bit fuller, in whatever way that means.”  Anna
