Snow storms don’t stop this avid runner. Meet Carrie, a trail runner from Knoxville, Tennessee.

Carrie moved to the Boulder area two years ago, after living in Denver for two years. She leads a very active lifestyle; she loves climbing, hiking, and biking, but her favorite activity is trail running. She started running in high school for her cross country and track team and she said “it just stuck.” “For me, running is a way for me to escape to nature for a while and leave any stress behind,” she said. Running in the snow doesn’t bother her at all. She mentioned that she finds it more refreshing and she gets the trail to herself most of the time. Carrie said she will run on the trails by the flatirons for up to three hours on some days.

Keep it up, Carrie, and thanks for taking the time to chat.
