  Meet Lia! Lia is a junior as CU Boulder and is studying international business. She has a strong love of traveling and has already been to 41 countries and has lived in Ghana and Indonesia.   Meet Dom! Dom is a wake-boarder and spends just about every nice on the water. Dom competes and even has several sponsorships for boarding. When he isn’t on the water he is exploring Colorado from horseback. Dom also spends a lot of time up in Montana exploring the country side and playing on the lakes up there.   Meet Alex! She is a sophomore at CU Boulder and spent the day tubing down the creek! After all the heavy rain in the early summer, the water has finally slowed down enough to float down! Although Alex says the water is still very, very cold. Even though it was a sunny day, she never totally got used to the water temperature and was trying her best not to flip over in the rapids.   Meet Matt! Matt is a Colorado native who goes to school in Durango Colorado! He chose Durango because of its adventurous spirit, and all the things to do outside there! Mainly, the skiing. Matt is an avid snowboarder and got more than 70 days in this past season! Whether that meant going out on the weekends or getting up very early to squeeze a few runs in before classes he made it happen. When the snow is gone, Matt keeps the momentum going and spends a lot of time on his longboard, and the steep windy roads in Colorado make it the perfect place to slide around.  Read More

  Meet Theo! Theo is an active freerunner and parkourist. He came down to Boulder to train and do some filming for a video. He likes to train in Boulder because there is so much different stuff to play on. From the CU campus, to all the little parks scattered around, and of course all the cool trails for some nature parkour. He also break dances and is very into backpacking.   Meet Fiona! She will be a freshman at the University of Colorado and recently spent some time hanging out in Boulder and getting a feel for the area. She will be studying hearing and speech sciences at CU and wants to help people who don’t have the ability to speak or hear.   Meet Francesca and Patipan! They moved to Colorado for a summer internship and came up to Boulder for a hike to the Royal Arch. Patipan is from Illinois and had only been here for three days when he conquered this hike. He said he could definetely feel the altitude but it was worth it.   Meet Dillon! Dillon is a junior at CU Boulder and is studying Film with a minor in technology arts and media. He has made some awesome short films ranging from horror movies, to outdoor adventure and climbing videos. Dillon is also a talented musician, and composes the soundtrack and scores for many of his films! He even works for Jefferson County Parks and Recreation making videos about the parks.   Meet Christopher and Magda! These two are captains of the Sailing Team at the University of Colorado, and have built the team from the ground up! “When we started up the team at the beginning of the year, all we could get our hands on was four broken down boats. Two of them had such bad damage that they couldn’t be put in the water. Most of them were missing line, or rudders, or other necessities to be able to sail.   Meet Silka! She goes to college in North Carolina but for the summer has traded her beach hammock for one in the mountains. Silka came down to visit Boulder and, despite some rain, spent the day exploring the Flatirons. The scenery here is a bit different from the beaches of the East Coast, and while talking to her, she couldn’t stop saying what an amazing place we have right in our backyards. After a while of hiking she set up a hammock over a small stream to listen to the water and just take everything in. While her visit to Boulder was short, she promises she will be back soon... Read More

  Meet Daniel! He is a certified climbing guide and true adventurer! Daniel spends most of his time on the rock and has got many of his friends into climbing. Spending time with Daniel and driving through Boulder Canyon is pretty impressive. Going up the road he points out all the climbing spots and knows them by name and has climbed a good amount of them! There isn’t much he doesn’t want to do or at least try. Mt. Kilimanjaro and Mt. Everest are on his list of future climbs, and he is hoping to start white water kayaking soon!  Read More
