Boulder Moose Makes its Way Downtown to Relax in Cemetery

It’s almost unknown to see a moose coming down from the mountains to go deeper into Boulder, especially as it gets warmer, but one female moose was looking to spend some time in Boulder’s Columbia Cemetery. “Moose do come down from the mountains from time to time, but overall I would say that is out of the norm,” a Colorado Parks and Wildlife spokesperson said. “About once a year do we get a moose make it into the metro area and we have to move them back up into the mountains.” Colorado Parks and Wildlife is hoping that the moose will go back into the mountains soon so it does... Read More

Colorado Visitors Surprised by Wild Wedding Guest

A couple from Illinois visited Rocky Mountain National Park this week to get married and were startled when a moose came into view in their snowy May background. The couple made several attempts to take pictures and say their vows, but the stubborn guest continued to meander closer and closer.
